ABOUT ME

Greetings!  My name is Deanna and I majored in Fine Art at UMass Amherst.  I love exploring old books and the beautiful art work hidden in their vintage pages. My inspiration is guided by the captivating illustrations that accompany the fairy tales, stories, and poems that I fell in love with during the twenty years that I lived in Europe.  Over the years I’ve discovered that a bit of whimsy and nostalgia always lifts my spirit and stirs my creativity!  I hope that my imaginative designs will lighten your heart and put a smile on your face as well!

A Small Smackerel of Something Sweet 🍯

In the Hundred Acre Wood, a “small smackerel” of something at eleven o’clock is a vital part of the day. Do you have a “Thoughtful Spot”? 🌳

In the Hundred Acre Wood, Pooh has a very specific place where he goes when he needs to do some “thinking.” He calls it his Thoughtful Spot. In our busy, modern lives, we often forget to carve out a spot like that for ourselves. We’re so busy doing that we forget to spend time just…
